Kelsey Worsdell Profile

Kelsey Worsdell joined Scotts Timber Engineering nearly a year ago. In her role as Scheduler, based at the company’s Thrapston factory in Northamptonshire, she deals with truss deliveries from call off stage, through the manufacturing process and delivery to customer sites on time to support customers’ build programmes.

As everyone in the industry knows, some of the biggest challenges come from the unpredictable factor. “I can have a firm schedule planned out, but everything can change very quickly due to things out of anyone’s control, like the weather,” she commented. “However, as someone who loves being organised, this job, which consists of organising pretty much everything around me, suits me perfectly!”

From day 1 in the job, Kelsey saw the need for more organisation, and swiftly designed and implemented new processes to keep everything running as smoothly as possible. She enjoys working for Scotts and finds it a supportive environment where encouragement and praise reinforce job satisfaction.
